Printing Advice

ScaleModelGuide.com is primarily intended as an online resource.  Using it online has several advantages such as the ability to follow hyperlinks and to view larger versions of most images.  However, we realise that sometimes it is helpful to be able to print a hardcopy of an article to refer to at your workbench.

In order to facilitate this, we have made all of the articles on Scale Model Guide printer friendly.  They will print out without the menus and side boxes that you normally see on your computer screen.  In other words, you will just print out what you actually need - the words and the text.

Unfortunately, printing from the Internet is far from perfect.  There are a variety of Internet Browsers in use and many versions of each browser.  Each of these prints in a slightly different way, so it is impossible to present articles on Scale Model Guide in a way that will print perfectly on every browser. To give an example, the Firefox Internet Browser will sometimes split a photograph over two pages.

When you print an article from ScaleModelGuide.com, all of the text and pictures should be present but, unfortunately, it may not look pretty.  We regret that there is no easy solution to this and we hope that it does not unduly affect your enjoyment of the content.
